One of the most common questions couples ask me is: ‘’okay… but what does an elopement day actually look like?’’

Because without a traditional schedule, it can be hard to imagine how the day flows. So instead of talking in theory, let me walk you through a real example: a full 12-hours elopement day in Batroun, Lebanon, from slow morning moments to a sunset picnic by the sea.

This is just *one* example of what you could do during your elopement. Every elopement is shaped around you.

MORNING, SLOW GETTING READY
(around 8:00-10:00am)

The day starts slowly, with no rush. You get ready separately or together, in a calm space near the sea.
This part is about details and quiet moments. You take your time to realize that this day is really happening and that you’re going to make the most out of it.

FIRST LOOK BY THE SEA (around 10:30 am)

You meet for the first time, somewhere simple and quiet, with the sound of the waves nearby. No audience, no pressure.
This moment often becomes one of the most post emotional parts of the day. You can take you time, hug, talk, laugh and let it sink in.

MIDDAY, EXPLORING BATROUN & THE SOUK (11:30 am-1 pm)

After the first emotions settle, you head into the village of Batroun. You walk through the souk, explore small streets, grab a coffee, stop wherever feels right.
This feels less like a photoshoot and more like a walk together.

LUNCH BREAK & REST TIME
(around 1:00 pm -3:00 pm)

One of the biggest advantages of eloping is being able to pause. You have lunch wherever you want to and then head back to rest. This downtime helps you recharge before the ceremony.

LATE AFTERNOON, CEREMONY BY THE SEA (around 3:30-4:30 pm)

Your ceremony takes place somewhere quiet, facing the sea.
You exchange vows, say what’s on your heart to your partner.
There’s no rush and no script to follow. This is the heart of the day.

GOLDEN HOUR, JUST MARRIED MOMENTS (around 4:30-6:00 pm)

Right after the ceremony, emotions are still fresh so it’s the perfect timing to capture those ‘’just married’’ moments. It’s the only time of the day where you’ll feel like it’s a photoshoot and I’ll guide you through every pose, don’t worry.

SUNSET, PINNIC BY THE SEA
(around 6:00-8:00 pm)

As the sun sets, you settle into a relaxed picnic by the water. You look at the sea and rethink about the day you just lived.

This is what a 12-hour relaxing elopement can look like. Elopements can be more adventurous including a hike or a boat ride for example. It all depends on what you want to do.
